The most-reviewed concert here: 1,146 reviews, 9.1 out of 10, Mozart in costume at the Musikverein from €69.
The Vienna Mozart Orchestra, founded in 1986, plays Mozart's best-known orchestral pieces, arias and duets in the Musikverein, with every performer in period costume and wig. Its own site counts 33 artists and the catalogue 30 musicians. The evening closes with The Blue Danube and the Radetzky March. Concerts start at 20:15 and end at about 22:00, with one interval of about 15 minutes.
Depending on the date, the concert is in the Golden Hall (1,744 seats plus standing room, according to Wikipedia) or the smaller Brahms Hall (about 600 seats). Tickets are sold as Superior, A, B and C, the last being the furthest from the stage, with reduced rates for students up to 27 with an ISIC card and children aged 5 to 18. The Vienna Philharmonic is resident in the same building, but this is a different ensemble and a different kind of concert.

First-time visitors who want to sit inside the Musikverein and hear the famous pieces, backed by the largest review count on this page.
Which hall you get depends on the date, and the Brahms Hall is about a third the size of the Golden Hall, so check the calendar before paying for a category. Children under 5 are not admitted and Civitatis stops taking bookings four hours before the start.
Show your ticket at the entrance of the Musikverein, Musikvereinsplatz 1, at least 15 minutes early. The organiser recommends elegant attire and does not allow photos or filming during the performance. Wheelchair users must email the organiser before booking to confirm a space, as the catalogue itself lists the product as not accessible.
