Moulin Rouge or another cabaret in Paris?
Four cabaret houses are in the catalogue, and they differ most on refund terms, room size and who is allowed in.

Short answer
Choose the Moulin Rouge if the name and the 850-seat room are what you came for and your date is fixed, because the official ticket from €160 cannot be refunded. The other three start lower, from €99 to €119, and all can be cancelled free of charge. Crazy Horse is the one with a different format: 90 minutes, about 200 seats, no meal, over 16 only.

Price and refund side by side
These are the lowest adult prices in the catalogue on 4 October 2026 for a show-only ticket, with what you drink and how late you can cancel. Two of the four are flagged as dynamically priced, so busy dates cost more.
- Moulin Rouge: from €160, half a bottle of champagne, no refund or exchange, dynamic price.
- Crazy Horse: from €119 with no drink, free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
- Paradis Latin: from €100 with a glass of champagne, free cancellation up to 10 hours before.
- La Nouvelle Eve: from €99 with half a bottle of champagne, free cancellation up to 48 hours before, dynamic price.
Room size and seating
The Moulin Rouge is listed at 850 seats. Paradis Latin gives its total capacity as 650. A venue-hire directory lists the Crazy Horse main room at 200 seated, the smallest figure we found for any of the four. La Nouvelle Eve does not publish a number.
None of the four lets you pick a seat. A head waiter places you on arrival, and the Moulin Rouge says its floor plan is redrawn every day. In a room of 850 that leaves more to chance than in a room of 200.
Minimum age and what is on stage
All four are adult revues with topless numbers, which is why we do not name a family pick for Paris. The age rules run from 6 to 16.
The programmes differ in ways the listings state. The Moulin Rouge revue, Féerie, includes the can-can. La Nouvelle Eve closes with one. Crazy Horse has no can-can: its show, Totally Crazy, is dance staged with projected light. Paradis Latin presents L'Oiseau Paradis, directed and choreographed by Kamel Ouali. We have not attended any of them and do not rank the performances.
- Moulin Rouge: from age 6, with an adult.
- La Nouvelle Eve: ticket sold from age 8 (the house's own FAQ says 6).
- Paradis Latin: ticket sold from age 12.
- Crazy Horse: nobody under 16.
Dinner and the length of the evening
Three houses sell dinner as an upgrade and one sells no food at all. Dinner always comes before the show and roughly doubles the time you spend in the room.
- Moulin Rouge: dinner at 19:00 with a choice of three menus, then the 21:00 show. Show only at 21:00 or 23:00, about 1 hour 40 minutes.
- Paradis Latin: dinner from 19:30 with two menus, show at 21:30. About 3 hours with dinner, a little over 90 minutes without.
- La Nouvelle Eve: three-course dinner at 18:30, then the 20:15 show, which ends at 21:45. A second show at 22:30.
- Crazy Horse: no meal. A 90-minute show at 20:00 or 22:30 from Sunday to Friday, with a different pattern on Saturday.
How much evidence stands behind each
Guest scores are only as good as the number of reviews under them. The official Moulin Rouge ticket has 1,025 reviews at 9.3, more than the other three houses combined. Paradis Latin has 100 reviews at 8.8 and Crazy Horse 33 at 8.8. La Nouvelle Eve shows a score of 10 from 2 reviews, which proves very little.
Two other things to know. The Paris region tourist board lists La Nouvelle Eve's can-can revue from April to October, so check that your date is on sale. And the Lido is missing on purpose: it stopped its revue in 2022 and reopened as Lido 2 Paris, a musical theatre house.
