What the evening is
Palacio Tango (formerly Piazzolla Tango) occupies two theatres in the basement of Galería Güemes at Florida 165, a 1915 building. You choose the Astor Piazzolla theatre or the Carlos Gardel theatre at the same price. Each has a sextet, two singers and five or six dance couples. A 2020 article in La Nación gives the rooms 380 and 220 seats.
Every ticket includes two drinks and an optional 25-minute tango class at 20:00. Dinner (three courses, from 20:20) and hotel transfer are sold as separate add-ons, so you can combine them as you like. The show starts at 22:00 and ends at 23:30.
