The most-reviewed concert here: 209 reviews, 9.2 out of 10, one hour in an 1868 synagogue. From €43.
A one-hour concert in the Spanish Synagogue at Vězeňská 1, in the old Jewish quarter. The building dates from 1868, has Moorish-style decoration inspired by the Alhambra and belongs to the Jewish Museum in Prague, which notes an organ in the southern gallery. The catalogue lists a soloist with a chamber orchestra and a programme that mixes classical, modern and Jewish music. Mozart, Bach, Verdi, Rossini and Bernstein are named.
A ticket seller that lists the same series names the ensemble as Czech Collegium, a chamber group drawn largely from the Prague FOK Symphony Orchestra, and showed a 17:30 start on 21 October 2026. Start times change with the date, so use the ones offered at checkout. There is a single rate, with prices for adults, over-65s, students, children aged 7 to 15 and children under 7.
Checked on 4 October 2026. Lowest adult price in the catalogue on 4 October 2026.
First-time visitors who want the concert with the most reviews behind it, and anyone who needs step-free access.
At €43 it costs more than St. Nicholas or the Lobkowicz Palace for the same hour of music. Neither the catalogue nor the museum says how many seats there are or how they are given out.
Go to the entrance at Vězeňská 1. The catalogue recommends arriving 15 minutes early. Students must show proof at the door, and wheelchair access (by platform lift) has to be requested when booking.
